Privacy Policy

NexVok Online Clinic ("we", "us") provides online doctor consultations through nexvok.com. This page explains what personal and health information we collect, why, who can see it, and what choices you have. We handle your information in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other Indian laws that apply to us.
1. What we collect
- Identity and contact: name, age, gender, mobile number and email address.
- Health information you give us: symptoms, medical history, appointment details and any reports or photos you upload.
- What the clinic creates: a priority suggestion for your booking, the doctor's notes, prescription and follow-up advice.
- Your choices: the consents you gave when booking (emergency understanding, AI support, terms), with the time you gave them.
2. Why we use it
- To book and run your consultation, and to contact you about it (for example by email).
- To let the doctor review your case, prescribe and advise.
- To keep your medical record and to meet legal and medical-record requirements.
- To keep the service secure and to investigate misuse.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who can see your information
- Your doctor and clinic administrators who need it to care for you. Access is controlled by login and by database access rules.
- Service providers that run the website for us: our database and file storage provider (Supabase), our web host (Hostinger), and Google (to send booking emails). They process data only to provide those services.
- When the law requires it, for example a lawful request from a court or authority.
Reports you upload are kept in private storage and are opened only through short-lived secure links for the treating doctor and clinic staff.
4. Computer-assisted suggestions (AI)
If you give consent when booking, the treating doctor may use an AI tool as decision support. The AI only drafts suggestions. It does not diagnose or prescribe. The doctor reviews every suggestion and makes every decision. Before anything is sent to the AI tool, we remove your name, phone number, email and similar identifiers. This removal is automatic and not perfect, which is why the doctor checks what is used. We keep a log of what was sent and what the doctor did with each suggestion. If you do not consent, your case is handled without AI.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide care and to meet medical-record and legal duties. After that it is deleted or made anonymous.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong or incomplete,
- delete your information, where the law allows (we may have to keep medical records for a legal period),
- withdraw a consent you gave (this does not affect what was done before you withdrew).
Write to us at the email below. We will reply within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected staff accounts, access rules in the database and private file storage. No online system is completely risk-free. If a breach that affects you happens, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Children
If the patient is under 18, a parent or legal guardian should make the booking and give the consents.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
